UX/UI Designer - Diconium
Soon after Corona changed the way we live, regulations appeared, and getting into contact with others became a challenge, our company decided to create its own solution when it came to booking and reserving a table. This helps to control the flow of people and assure health and safety regulations while at the office.

Design Process
I’ve used the following steps as part of the process for this project.
Feature Update
The development team had the initiative to get started with the booking tool. Once they needed support to fix loops, I jumped in to guide them on how the user journey could be improved and suggested a UI direction.
Sketches and idea validation
I sought feedback by sharing sketches, wireframes, and ran quick usability tests with my colleagues and random users.
Solution
The feature splits into 3 journeys, that allowed users to find a table, check in, and make reservations.
Journey
The user can log into this tool through our company portal. They have the option to pick a location, which includes where they would like to sit and make a reservation. The second journey is about check-in. They can do this manually as well on the day of. Finally, users can view their reservations, and book more than one up to a week ahead.
Takeaway
This was a quick internal project that aimed to help colleagues. It was a nice collaboration with development and learning about possibilities within their world.
